Farmingdale, New York, November 7, 2002… Enclosed is Memory Protection Devices new 24 page, 2002  component  catalog. It features many new products including battery retainers, dc power cables, audio connectors and 12 volt automotive connectors.

Our new line of battery retainers are sure to become popular with designers because of their low price. Our model BK-888 is for lithium CR2032 coin cell batteries. Pricing for 5,000 pieces is just $0.14 and normally ship from stock. We have 14 new sizes of coin cell  retainers with many more styles now being developed.

Our new line Audio connectors include Jacks, Plugs, Adaptors, DC, RCA, Microphone and DIN on pages 17 to 19.  DC power cables with 2.1 and 2.5 mm molded plugs are featured on the back cover.

New Marine Style weather and vibration resistant 12 volt auto plugs are available.  The “AP-121” plug has a green led power indicator light, gasket, and a replaceable “3AG” ¼” by 1 ¼”, glass fast acting fuse. The AP-121 normally ships from stock with pricing of $2.29 each when ordering in lots of 1000 pieces. The mating socket is P/N “AS-212” and is weather and vibration resistant with a protective cover. It has quick fit 0.250” x 0.032” male terminals, for easy secure connections.  The “AS-212” pricing is $1.81 each in lots of 1000 pieces.
